B-2500 BILLET STACKING SYSTEM
B & O's B-2500 Billet Stacking System is designed to automatically stack cut aluminum billet in hexagonal or rectangular patterns quickly and efficiently and can be designed to work with your existing sawing system.
The billets are picked off the saw out-feed conveyor by an overhead gripper assembly and transported to the stacking cart and placed in one of two baskets. Each basket is fully adjustable to accommodate billet diameters from 6 to 16 inches and standard lengths up to 48 inches long. Operator can change diameter and stack pattern in seconds. When one basket becomes full the cart automatically indexes to the second basket to keep from interrupting the stacking process and to allow the operator to manually band the completed stack. Each basket also has built in banding guides to aid the operator with the banding process. These guides can also contain dunnage boards if required. The baskets can be rotated 90 degrees for ease of unloading the banded stack with a fork truck.
