B-2496 HLS HOT LOG SAW

B&O’s B-2496-HLS Hot Log Saw is designed for production cutting of hot aluminum logs into billets after they leave the furnace and prior to the billets being fed to an extrusion press. The sawing system is designed to cut logs from 3” to 16” in diameter. The saw will go in as a direct replacement for a shear. The system is more accurate than a shear, achieving cut tolerances of ± 1/8”.
